Be Careful Wanting What’s In David’s House

The Marriage Company in conjunction with Overflo Ministries Inc is hosting an event called “Girl Hurt” aimed towards bringing women together from all walks of life and inspire and empower them “to assume new and expanded roles in the workforce, (their) lives and communities.

The event will be held Saturday, January 29, 11am-1pm, at the Legacy Event Center in Columbus, GA and will offer women ongoing inspiration and motivation as they chase their personal and professional dreams.  Tickets are $35 per person and include lunch, as well as two keynote speakers and access to breakout sessions and an interactive exhibition that will provide insight and advice on relevant topics for women seeking guidance in professional and personal development.

The keynote speakers are women of empowerment and that inspire women around the world to challenge the status quo, create change and speak up for what they believe.  The overall goal of the event is for attendees to leave the conference with new ideas, inspiration, and connections to help keep the momentum going when they get back to their normal lives.

The theme of Girl Hurt reminds us that simple, daily acts of prevention, awareness, like helping a friend make positive choices or supporting a family member in need, can lead to healthier lives for each of us today, and stronger, happier communities, tomorrow.
